Yi has over 20 years of experience in the financial service industry.  Yi was a Managing Partner at BridgeWood from 2021-2025, and currently serves as an Advisor to the Company. 

Yi is currently the Head of Business and Talent Attraction/Investment Promotion with InvestHK New York. Prior to joining BridgeWood, Yi was a Managing Director responsible for Business Development and Product Development at Haitong International Asset Management, based in Hong Kong. Prior to Haitong, she was a Director at BMO Global Asset Management and BMO Financial Group in Hong Kong for 7 years, with her main responsibilities included building its wealth management platform, developing investment products and managing the distribution capabilities in Asia.  Before BMO, she was the Associate Director of HSBC Private Bank (Suisse) SA, where she was tasked with strengthening the platform of funds offerings with a focus on alternative investments and bespoke investment portfolio solutions for private clients.

Yi started her career with Salomon Smith Barney in New York, followed by an extensive term with HSBC group across multiple functions and regions in the US and the UK.

Yi holds a B.S. degree in Finance and International Business from Leonard N. Stern School of Business of New York University.  She is licensed for Type 1 (dealing in securities), Type 4 (advising on securities), Type 5 (advising on futures contracts) and Type 9 (asset management) regulated activities by the SFC under the SFO in Hong Kong.  She also holds the designation of Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA).
