Mitsuo Ohara has over 30 years of experience in the financial industry, including more than 20 years in asset management serving Japan’s leading institutional investors.

He has held senior positions at Northern Trust Global Investments Japan and Standard Life Investments (later Aberdeen Standard Investments), where he managed key relationships with major life insurers and banks, raising mandates across fixed income, credit, infrastructure, and alternative strategies. Most recently, he served as Japan Representative for Tybourne Capital Management, engaging closely with leading Japanese institutional investors and maintaining strong, ongoing relationships.

Earlier in his career, Mitsuo gained extensive experience in global markets through corporate and inter-bank foreign exchange trading at Citibank and Chase Manhattan.
